Master Groups
What are master groups?
Master groups are a way for larger organizations, who may have lots of people all participating in the challenge, to easily see how people are comparing against each other.
What's the difference between groups and master groups?
Groups are normally smaller groups of people competing in the challenge together, they start and stop the challenge together and compete directly against other groups.
Master groups are larger organizations of members and groups that are linked together. They do not have to start and end the challenge together and the scores are not added together on the leader board. Master groups can however filter the leader board to show only master group members.
How do i set up a master group?
Master groups can only be set up by a 100 day challenge admin. If you want a master group set up, contact the admin's via the contact us page and someone will be in touch to help.
An example of how master groups are used
A school wishes to join the challenge and gets all it's classes to participate.
Each class teacher joins as a group leader and helps her students join the respective groups.
Also each class group joins the schools master group that has been set up for them.
Now by clicking the "view master groups" link on the leader board the school can see only their results and how individuals and groups are doing against each other.
